By clicking on the map, the user can identify the contamination source to be simulated. The time can be also controlled with panel below. By clicking Calculate the simulation is retrieved and visualized on the msCross web viewer.
This module produce a real time geo-raster by means of the open source GRASS module.

The test case

The Simulation Manager is used to display the simulated contamination field on the aquifer given the polluting source. User can identify the source with a click on the map. The corresponding simulation is retrieved from the SRB filesystem and displayed on the Web-viewer. Contaminated areas can be dinamically mapped and overlaid with important territorial features such as pumping wells, exploited land for agriculture, etc..
